The training programs covered on this website will need to be supported by having a proper diet in place so that all of the neccessary resources are available to: repair and rebuild muscle fibres that have been broken down, replenish expended energy, provide energy for future workouts, and otherwise promote recovery from resistance training. Ideally the appropriate food sources should be consumed at regular intervals throughout the day by spacing overall food intake into several small meals. To get the most biologically value the food source should be derived from the best nutritional sources for example organic, non-processed food that is then supplied at the optimal time and ratio to each other, considering the training goal. As a general rule those goals will probably fall into three main states: to gain muscle, lose fat or for maintenance.
